Insurance coverage that protects the insured against claims resulting from injuries and damage to other people or property. Liability insurance covers legal costs and payouts for which the insured would be responsible if found legally liable.
In Zach’s Words
“Liability insurance is your 'I'm sorry, let me pay for that' coverage. If you cause harm to someone or damage their property, liability pays for it so you don't have to drain your bank account. It shows up everywhere — your auto policy, homeowners, business insurance. It's protecting other people FROM you.”
