Policy Terms
Endorsement
Definition
A written amendment or addition to an existing insurance policy that modifies the terms, conditions, or coverage of the original policy. Also known as a rider.
In Zach’s Words
“An endorsement is like adding toppings to your pizza. Your base policy covers the basics, but maybe you want to add coverage for your jewelry, or add your landlord as an additional insured, or remove a coverage you don't need. Each change gets documented as an endorsement.”
